Treat Acne with Burdock root.

Burdock root is one of the natural cure for acne. This root is found in Europe and Asia, though it is now grown in the United States as well. The burdock root has many medicinal properties, is dark green, brown and black in colour. Burdock root for acne treatment has been used since ages and is considered very effective. The main ingredients contained in Burdock root are calcium, chlorogenic acids, flavanoids, inulin, iron lactone, potassium to name a few. Because of the presence of these ingredients, Burdock root when consumed regularly is known to remove toxins from the blood, thereby reducing the chances of having skin problems like acne and pimples. There are two ways of using Burdock root for the treatment of acne internally and externally. 1) pour four cups of water in a pan allow it to boil. Then you add four teaspoons of dried burdock root to the water allow it to simmer for about ten minutes. Remove the tea from the fire and drink one cup while it is still hot. Keep the remaining but make sure you warm it before drinking throughout the day. This is the internal use of Burdock root. The recipe for the external use of Burdock root is as follows. Boil one teaspoon of dried Burdock root in one cup of water. Allow it to cool then you add one tbsp tomato pulp to it. Mix them properly and this has formed anti-acne mask. Apply it to the affected areas, regularly and this will eventually cure or reduce acne. Before applying this home remedy, make sure you are not allergic to burdock root as it is known to have caused dehydration in many people. Also make sure you inform your doctor before using burdock root for acne treatment.
